Freddie Simpson won the Buckinghamshire Open
Freddie Simpson won The Buckinghamshire Open by beating Harpenden club-mate James Styles 9-7, 7-5 in the nine and under final.
Harpenden’s Elliott Lowe reached the semi-final of the competition. Simpson was also victorious in the Riverside Junior Open Grade 3 nine-and-under tournament; winning 4-7, 7-4, 7-4.
Lowe again reached the semi-final, but was on the wrong end of a three-set battle.
In the Letchworth Grade 4 Tournament, Tom Attenborough won 10-8, 4-7, 7-5, while Styles reached the last-four.
