Young Barnet striker Jamal Lowe has re-joined St Albans City on a permanent basis having previously turned out for the Saints on loan last season.

The 20-year-old forward scored five times in ten starts for the Saints last season before returning to The Hive.

Lowe, who made his debut for the Bees against York City in August 2011 and went on to make 14 appearances without scoring for the club.

Speaking to St Albans' website, joint-manager James Gray said: "I have been talking to Barnet about Jamal for a while and I am excited that he has chosen to join us especially when he had other clubs chasing him."

Made available for transfer in December after returning from a loan stay with Hemel Hempstead, the academy product has previously enjoyed loan stints with Boreham Wood, Hayes & Yeading, Farnborough and Hitchin Town.

Lowe has featured twice for Barnet this term, coming off the bench in wins against Nuneaton Town and Dover Athletic.
