Colney Heath Ladies brushed aside Hoddesdon Owls
Colney Heath Ladies eased to a 4-1 win over Hoddesdon Owls in the League Plate on Sunday.
The Magpies started brightly and opened the scoring when a ball from Viki Allen found Kelly Hancock who knocked it off the post and into the net. Colney Heath extended their lead when they won a free-kick and Molly Slade fired home.
Holly Sheridan anticipated a defensive error to bundle in a third before Hoddesdon pulled one back with their first effort on goal. But Colney Heath sealed the victory in the through a strike from Sammy May.
