Townsend Bowls Club have announced two open days where their new husband and wife coaching partnership will be present.
On Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, May 3 from 10.30am onwards, Clyde and Bernadette Martindill will be offering coaching to those who want to give the sport a go.
These will be the introductions for the four, two-hour long sessions, which are designed to give each new bowler a solid grounding.
The Martindills recently completed an arduous course run by Hertfordshire Bowls.
All equipment will be provided. Participants are asked to wear flat shoes or trainers to help protect the green.
