Batchwood Hall clinched a 69-48 victory at Hemel Hempstead after winning three of their four triples.

Top rink for Batchwood was Lena Emmins, who is on loan from Hemel, Teresa Wood and Liz Schlatter (22-9).

Batchwood Hall entertained de Havilland in a closely fought friendly triples match and the hosts edged to a 74-60 victory. Both sides won on two rinks each with Batchwood's top performers being Jim Gibb, Gordon Turner and skip Steve Dean (28-7).

The side narrowly lost 88-81 at Hatfield with both teams winning on two rinks. The pick of the Batchwood players were Ben Dean, Colin Watts, Barry Rees, Steve Dean as they won 24-18.

Batchwood Hall were at home again in a mixed friendly against Abbots Langley. The hosts ran out 84-61 winners by three rinks to one. Batchwood’s top rink was Eddie Price, Ann Price, and skip Steve Dean (35-8).
