Batchwood Hall's team won in the county pairs
Batchwood Hall’s Kate Horner and Pat Savage were winners in the first round of the ladies county pairs.
The duo defeated Sandra Field and Shirley Burrow of Rowley Lane 20-13.
Batchwood’s men just managed to hold on to win their midweek friendly away against Hatfield 95-90.
The top rink for Batchwood featured Colin Watts, Chris Whiting, Gordon McIver and Dave Norrell (24-18).
Batchwood ladies secured an impressive 72-54 win over St Albans district after winning on three of the four rinks.
Molly Grindlay, Nora Endericks, Brenda Aris and Kate Horner were the top rink.
