Great Britain and England Commonwealth silver medalist Ellie Watton has announced she will be joined by an array of coaching talent at the mid August summer hockey camps at Oaklands College St Albans.

Watton’s international teammate Zoe Shipperly, youth Olympian Martin Scanlon and England talent development coach James Batemen will all be in attendance. Goalkeepers at the camp will also receive coaching from professionals who have 81 international caps between them.

These coaches are England and GB keepers Maddie Finch, Kirsty Mackay and Sabbie Heesh. Other coaches at the camp include European Under-18 gold medalist and Queenswood School head coach Amy Kee, Amersham and Chalfont’s hockey clubs senior head of hockey Simon Archer and former Nottingham Trent university captain Lottie Porter.

The junior camps that take place on Monday, August 10 and Tuesday, August 11 are open to boys and girls between the ages of eight and 11 whatever their experience or level.

The Thursday and Friday camps later in the week are aimed at experienced players between 13 and 18 who play Saturday club hockey or at Junior Academy Centre level or above.
