Hertfordshire finished in fourth place
Hertfordshire's short mat bowling team finished fourth in the inter county team fours competition on Brentwood.
Although the county finished fourth in the group they only missed out on qualifying for the final stages on shots difference.
Herts edged to a 47-40 win over Buckinghamshire in their opening match before losing 69-40 to Suffolk.
A win for Hertfordshire in the final group match would have seen them qualify for the finals but the team were beaten 49-34 by Surrey.
Harpenden's Pauline Taylor, Eileen Prior, John Taylor and Liz Bradley all represented the county.
