Michael Ridgeway starred in the national finals in Birmingham
Talented gymnast Michael Ridgway finished seventh at the Elite Grades Level 3 National Finals in Birmingham.
Ridgway, who attends Killigrew school in Chiswell Green, has been a member of the Eastern region gymnastics team for the past three years.
His performance in Birmingham helped him improve on ninth position from last year.
Ridgway, who also placed second on rings for this event, attends Marriotts Gymnastics Club in Stevenage and trains for 20 hours a week with his coach Callum Adams.
