Caretaker boss Harry Wheeler believes Jonathan Edwards has great potential after St Albans City extended the loan of the Peterborough United striker for the rest of the season.
The talented 19-year-old forward impressed during an initial month on loan at St Albans City and scored the winner in their recent win over Maidenhead United.
Caretaker manager Harry Wheeler said: "He has done very well for us and has great potential. He has a great chance of playing professional football full time."
He continued: "He is not the finished article but he is still learning. His best asset is his versatility. He has variety to his play and is unpredictable which you need to play at a higher level. He can run in behind and also come short which complements well with our other forwards."
St Albans have also confirmed defender Tom Bender has signed National League forms with the club.
Bender has caught the eye since joining on loan from Forest Green Rovers and will remain with the Saints.
