St Albans City Youth Warriors Under 18s emulated Arsenal by completing a whole season unbeaten after winning the Watford Friendly League.
The team, who faced several seasons of near relegation, won the league with one game remaining and drew only once in their own ‘Invincibles’ season.
Eighteen of the 19 Warriors squad come from Beaumont School and they followed their league victory by winning the Watford Friendly League Spring Trophy.
Manager Keith Glasscoe said after nearly folding last year he is incredibly proud of their achievements in the team’s final season of junior football.
He said: “It is entirely down to their teamwork and dedication, which has been awesome.”
