St Albans have been drawn to begin this season's FA Cup campaign in the second qualifying round at Dereham Town later this month.

They will travel to the eighth-tier Norfolk opposition, who currently ply their trade in the Isthmian League Division One North, on September 17.

Dereham first entered the FA Cup in 2002 and have gone beyond this stage only once, and have already beaten Yaxley and Holbeach United to reach this stage this season.

St Albans have enjoyed success in recent years in the competition, reaching the first round to face Grimsby Town last year and also going out to Mansfield Town at the same stage in 2013-14.
