For the fourth year running, St Albans Hockey Club took four teams to attend the annual European Schools Hockey Tournament in Terrassa, Barcelona, from July 6-8.
One of the high-level tournaments in Europe, it attracts clubs from Spain, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the UK.
A few unlucky losses for the U16 Boys meant that they ended 5th in the tournament.
For the U14 boys, it was a steep learning curve in many respects, although gaining in both confidence and skill as the matches progressed.
The two U14 girls teams showed some amazing skill and character over the weekend, played each other for 7th position.
