St Albans Junior Cricket Club will again be running coaching sessions over the summer months.
Boys and girls aged between seven and 15 will have the opportunity to play in league matches within Hertfordshire. In addition to boys teams at each age level, this season the club will be running two girls teams, who will compete in the inaugural Herts Girls Cricket League.
At the opening junior coaching session on Friday, April 13, the club will be officially opening their new outdoor nets facility, named after former chairman Phil Milton, who passed away at the end of 2011.
The nets will be used by junior and senior club members, as well as local schools and community groups. Registration Day will be next to the cricket pitch at Clarence Park on Sunday between 2pm and 4pm. For more information call Paul Sands on 07540 705966.
