Watford forward Adalberto Penaranda played in Venezuela's 1-1 draw against Mexico in the Copa America last night.
Venezuela opened the scoring in Houston after ten minutes through Jose Manuel Velazquez's overhead kick.
But an equaliser in the 80th minute from Jesus Manuel Corona ensured Mexico finished top of the group.
Penaranda, who was booked in the 69th minute, played the whole match for his country.
The result means Venezuela will take on Argentina in the quarter-finals on Sunday.
Miguel Layun was brought on at half-time for Mexico and helped set up their late equaliser.
Mexico will take on defending champions Chile on Sunday night.
