Watford supporter Nic Cruwys is holding a charity football evening this weekend.
The Hornets fan wants to give back to the organisations which helped him recover from his injuries following the unprovoked attack after Watford's game at Wolves in March 2015.
The evening, which starts at 6.30pm on Sunday, will take place at Hemel Hempstead Town FC.
The event will feature live music and a sports memorabilia auction including items such as a Watford shirt, a Manchester United football and an England rugby team photo.
A raffle will also be held alongside a free buffet and cash bar with special football guests attending.
All proceeds from the evening will go to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, where Cruwys spent eight weeks, and Headway Hertfordshire, which supports head and brain injuries.
Tickets are £10 and are available on the night with free entry for Under-16s. To buy a ticket in advance call 07956 400096 or 07780 874035.
