Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta expects Roberto Pereyra's move to Watford to be decided in the next 48 hours.

The Argentine attacker is currently in Italy with Juve playing their final friendly this afternoon in a game between the A and B teams involving the whole squad.

But the Watford Observer understands the midfielder's representatives will meet with members of the Pozzo family tomorrow in Milan, as the Hornets look to complete the deal.

Watford have set their sights on bringing the playmaker to Vicarage Road and are understood to be confident of finalising the signing on a long-term contract.

Speaking this afternoon, Marotta told Sky Sports Italy: "Pereyra is being chased by several teams, including Watford owned by the Pozzo family.

"We are waiting to see the outcome of the discussions between the player and the club. It will need a few days."

Pereyra's agent has confirmed a basic deal is in place between the clubs and according to sources the player is keen to join Watford.
