Watford Ladies Youth Development Squad moved up to second place in the London and South East Women’s Premier League after an impressive 4-1 win over Eastbourne Town.

A brace from Chloe Farrell and goals from Emma Bebbington and Sacha Brinkley secured the points for the hosts, who have 10 points from their opening five games in the league, and sit two behind Leyton Orient.

The Under-17 Hornets drew 3-3 in the Capital Girls League with Kent Football United, while the Under-15 Hornets were 12-0 winners over Knebworth Town in a hugely one-sided encounter.

Rubie Smith grabbed four goals, while there were two apiece for Lola Forsyth, Charlotte Bailey and Sasha Williams, with Josie YLayton and Rebecca Lovelace also on target.

There was another win for the Under-13 Hornets, who sealed an exciting win in a topsy-turvy game at Tottenham Hotspur, triumphing 5-3.

Jessica Cripps opened the scoring before Kayra Karakus added a hat-trick, and Mia O’Brien’s fifth capped a sensational performance.

The Under-11s opened their league campaign against Denham United with Erin Patterson scoring their only goal.

The Under-15 Harts lost 3-1 at home to Garston Ladies Pumas, and the Under-13 Harts were beaten 3-0 by Bury Rangers Reds. The Under-12 Harts suffered a similarly disappointing fate, going down 5-0 at Herts Girls.
