Three Watford players have discovered their potential fate after the groups were drawn for the African Cup of Nation finals.
Adlene Guedioura, Nordin Amrabat and Brice Dja Djedje could all travel to Gabon for the tournament in January, ruling them out of Premier League action for around a month.
Guedioura's Algeria side have been drawn in Group B, alongside Tunisia, Senegal and Zimbabwe, with group games being held from January 15-23.
Amrabat, a Morocco international, could come up against the Ivory Coast, DR Congo and Togo in Group C, with games played from January 16-24.
Djedje could face his Watford team-mate if he is called up for the Ivory Coast, but, having missed out on the Hornets' Premier League squad, he will have been without a competitive fixture since May, and has not played for The Elephants since mid-2014.
The tournament will officially get underway on January 14, with the final on February 5, but teams will meet a week or so prior to the first round of matches.
Amrabat, Djedje and Guedioura, should their sides reach the final, would be likely to miss the New Year's Day game with Tottenham Hotspur, plus games against Stoke, Middlesbrough, Bournemouth, Arsenal and Burnley, as well as the FA Cup third and fourth rounds.
