New Swansea boss Bob Bradley has warned his players to be aware of a Watford side he called "direct at certain moments" ahead of their Premier League encounter on Saturday.

The American manager was speaking at a press conference before his first home game in charge at the Liberty Stadium, having been beaten narrowly 3-2 at Arsenal last weekend.

The new man at the helm was clearly left impressed with Watford's 1-0 win at Middlesbrough last weekend, and feels they will be tricky for the Swans to score against on Saturday.

He said: "They have done well, they are what they are, they are direct at certain moments.

"They fight for ball, they are tough to break down and they defend in numbers.

"But we have to be very positive and view this as a very important match for the supporters and for our confidence."
