Jon Moss will take charge of Watford’s final game of the season as the Hornets look to cause an upset against Manchester City at Vicarage Road.

The 46-year-old has taken charge of Watford on four occasions this season, with Walter Mazzarri’s side winning one, drawing one and losing two of those matches.

Hornets fans will have particularly painful memories of Moss’ officiating during August’s 2-1 home defeat to Chelsea which saw Moss at the centre of controversy.

He failed to show Diego Costa a second yellow card for a dive and the Spaniard went on to score the winner in the 87th minute.

Moss has shown 140 yellow cards and three reds in 36 games this season, most recently when dismissing Granit Xhaka in Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Burnley.
