Watford's game with Real Sociedad at Vicarage Road next month will cost £10 for adults, the club has announced.

The friendly was drafted at short notice following the re-arranged Aston Villa game on July 29, which will now be played at Villa Park instead of in Hertfordshire.

In its place, the inaugural Graham Taylor trophy will instead be contested between Watford and the Spanish side, who finished sixth in La Liga last season, on August 5.

There will be a number of family activities held behind the Rookery End from midday on the day of the game, with a number of Taylor-era players paraded on the pitch at half-time.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £7.50 for Over-65s and full-time students, and Under-18s will be admitted for £5.

The club has announced ticket profits will be split between the National Memorial Arboretum - which served as Taylor's collection at his funeral - and Watford's Community Sports and Education Trust.

Both charities were nominated by Taylor's family to be the beneficiaries of the game.

Tickets will go on sale to season ticket holders from 5pm today, and remaining tickets from 5pm on Monday.

Initially, only seats in the Sir Elton John Stand, Upper and Lower Graham Taylor stands will be available, subject to demand.
