Five Watford players have been called up for international duty over the coming two-week Premier League break - and here's a preview of what each of them will be up to during their time away from Vicarage Road.

ANDRE CARRILLO - PERU - 34 CAPS/3 GOALS

Carrillo will take on the biggest double-header of his life when Peru face New Zealand for a place in next year's World Cup over the international break.

The winger, on loan from Benfica, has not been at his best in recent weeks but will forget all about that if he can help his country make it to Russia, and a first World Cup in 32 years.

Peru will first travel to Wellington on Saturday with kick-off at 3.15am UK time, before jetting back to South America for the return leg, which starts at 2.15am on November 16 - just three days before Watford host West Ham.

ORESTIS KARNEZIS - GREECE - 46 CAPS/0 GOALS

Watford Observer:

Orestis Karnezis is another hoping to make it to Russia, with his Greece side facing Croatia on Thursday and Sunday, with both games kicking off at 7.45pm.

The goalkeeper, his country's first-choice stopper, will look to leave a nightmare Watford debut at Everton yesterday behind him in the play-off.

MOLLA WAGUE - MALI - 25 CAPS/4 GOALS

There's less excitement for Mali captain Molla Wague with his international side facing Gabon in the final group game of their African qualification campaign - but they are already out of the running for a place in the finals.

Their one game will be played at 2.30pm on Saturday.

CHRISTIAN KABASELE - BELGIUM - 1 CAP/0 GOALS

Watford Observer:

There's no word on whether Christian Kabasele will take up his place with the Belgium squad ahead of two friendlies with Mexico and Japan, both to be played in Brussels.

The defender was stretchered off during yesterday's 3-2 defeat at Everton, but later revealed he had suffered no serious injury and may yet be fit to travel.

Belgium face Mexico on Friday at 7.45pm, and then Japan on November 14th at the same time.

COSTEL PANTILIMON - ROMANIA - 25 CAPS/0 GOALS

Loaned-out Costel Pantilimon is also in the Romania squad for their two friendies against Turkey and the Netherlands.

The goalkeeper, spending the season at Deportivo La Coruna, has lost his place as his country's number-one but could be given a run out this weekend.

Romania face Turkey at 6.15pm on Thursday, and the Netherlands at 7pm on November 14.
