Remember Juan Camilo Zuniga? The Colombian has been immortalised for his loan spell at Watford by his cameo in the pre-match video showcasing his goal against Manchester United in September 2016.
The rest of his time at Vicarage Road was pretty uneventful, before he returned to Napoli at the end of his season-long loan, or so we all thought.
Following reports Zuniga is still a Watford player, the Watford Observer checked up on the 32-year-old and it turns out, as per the terms of his loan deal, he played enough to be signed in the summer.
And now, following a long injury lay-off, he is set to cut his losses this weekend and move back to his Colombian roots to join top-flight side Atletico Nacional.
Zuniga apparently still harbours hopes of being a part of his country's World Cup squad in the summer. He has made 61 international appearances to date.
So the Hornets' first permanent move of the January transfer window looks likely to be a player few realised was even on the books, and could be completed later today.
