Will Buckley scored his first goal in Watford colours in the Reserves’ 2-0 win over Ipswich Town this afternoon.
The Hornets beat the Tractor Boys for the second time in two days following the first team’s 2-1 win at Vicarage Road last night.
Buckley, who signed from Rochdale in January but has not played a competitive game since late November due to injury, opened the scoring on 14 minutes for a strong Watford Reserves side before Lewis Young grabbed the second eight minutes into the second half.
Watford: Lee; Hodson, Bennett, Thompson, Travner; Bryan, Jenkins, McGinn, Young; Buckley, Henderson. Subs: Oshodi, Bond (gk), Penny, Brooks, Massey.
Ipswich Town: R Wright, Ainsley, Brown (Eastman 46), Balkestein, Dunbar, Cawley, Yao (Griffiths 55), Quinn (Clark 46), Upson, Lambe, Murray. Subs not used: McLoughlin, Brandon.
