Harvesters ease to Park win
12:10pm Friday 22nd March 2013 in Local Sport
Harvesters Under-9 North won 4-0 away to Alexander Park South in the quarter final of the Challenge Cup.
Playing some fantastic passing football on an extremely heavy pitch, Harvesters eventually started finding the net. The goalscorers were Ryan O'Sullivan (2), Joe Ashton and William Robinson. Man-of-the-match went to Luke Gibbard.
The Under-10s West booked a semi-final place in the Spring Trophy by beating London Maccabi Lions 3-2. Ahmed Berchill, Pat Dee and Josh Clarke were all on target while goalkeeper Matthew Hilton earned the plaudits for his man-of-the-match display.
The Under-12s East gained a crucial 4-0 win away to AEK Gold. Ben Robinson scored twice with Josh Edwards and Harry Warmsley also netting.
Harvesters Under-13s Girls got back to winning ways in style by playing Luton off the park with some lovely passing football in their 5-2 win.
The team led 3-1 at the break and the girls had to fight hard in the second half when they had to play with only eight players, but still had too much for their opponents. Star player Bolu Fisher scored a hat-trick with the other goals coming from Rebecca McShane and Julia Draper.
