Batchwood Hall Bowls Club’s Liz Schlatter beat Hatfield's Marilyn Hedger 21-9.
In the second round of the county unbadged singles, Kate Horner of Batchwood met Janet Hubball of Harpenden and lost 21-13.
The St Albans district ladies pairs saw Nora Endericks and Pat Savage lose to the mother and daughter pair Debbie and Emma Trollope from Harperbury 21-14.
In the triples league, Batchwood lost both home and away rinks to Hatfield in a 47-36 defeat.
Batchwood's men lost away to OWLS 86-69. Top rink for Batchwood was Jack O’Brien, John Hay, David Norrell and John Harvey (22-19).
The team also lost away to Potters Bar by 87 shots to 58. Batchwood’s top and only winning rink was Darren Gilbert, Stan Endericks, Jim Gibb and Ken Bridger (17-15).
Batchwood lost 113-50 to Rowley Lane on a very difficult green.
Top rink was Dick Brewster, Wendy Rowell, Liz Schlatter and Eddie Jacobs who won 16-15.
