St Albans Rangers romp to nine-goal win

St Albans Rangers Under-16s started the season in tremendous style with a 9-1 victory over Ashurstwood FC.
Thomas Findlay hit a hat-trick in the last ten minutes to earn the man-of-the-match award.
The Under-10s Red enjoyed a 6-3 victory over Whetstone Wanderers.
Bayley Shipp scored the opening goal but Whetstone levelled the game before the break.
The opposition went in front before Oscar Reeves made it 2-2. Ben Day gave Rangers the lead but Wanderers equalised again. Shipp restored Rangers’ lead and completed his hat-trick while Brandon Trainis also found the net.
Rangers Under-11 Reds defeated Knebworth 2-1 in the County Cup.
Flynn O’Callaghan grabbed the opener before Knebworth equalised but Conor Kelly’s volley earned the winner.
The Under-11s White started their season with a thrilling 4-3 victory against TFA Crouch End Lions.
A brace from Seb Pound and an overhead kick from Harrison Shipp gave them a 3-0 lead before the opposition scored twice. Pound completed his hat-trick as the side edged to victory.
Rangers Under-12 Reds lost 6-5 in an entertaining clash against Panathanikos.
Oli Taits equalised for the Reds after falling behind but they found themselves 4-1 down. Ben Taylor headed home before the opposition made it 5-2. But Taylor and Jack Kerr brought Rangers within one goal. The hosts made it 6-4 but Rangers replied through Louis Shaw and came close to earning a draw.
