Harvesters Under-13s South advance in Challenge Cup with win against Borehamwood Youth Crusaders

Harvesters Under-13s South advanced in the Challenge Cup following a comfortable 5-2 win against Borehamwood Youth Crusaders.
Goals from Alex Banathy, Jo Caswell, Jack Hawthorne, George Hayford and Ben Lloyd secured Harvesters’ passage into the first round of the competition.
There was disappointment for the Under-13s North as they lost 4-0 to AEK Eagles Black, while the Under-13s East were beaten 5-1 at Alexandra Park South – a goal from Ben Robinson only a consolation.
A strike from Lewis Murray wasn’t enough for the Under-12s South as they were knocked out of the League Cup following a 5-1 defeat against Everett Rovers.
The Under-11s West defeated Crouch End Vampires on penalties to move into the last 16 of the League Cup.
The game ended 5-5 in normal time with Harvey Young (2), Dan Affutu-Nartey, Jack Percy and Josh Clarke on target.
Goals from Seth Yates (2) and Daniel Williams saw the Under-11s East draw 3-3 against Hinton & Finchley Revolution, while the Under-11s North overcame Harvesters Under-11s South 3-0 thanks to a brace from Jack McShane and one from Tom Platts.
The Under-10s North claimed a 2-1 win at Whetstone Wanderers Panthers with Luke Gibbard and Ryan O’Sullivan both on the scoresheet.
The Under-10s West lost 9-0 to Finchley Revolution in the League Cup – Massimo Vazquez was man-of-the-match.
Lewis Philips, Bradley James and Sam Paton all found the net in the Under-14s’ 3-1 win against Panathinaikos, while Tyler Guerra scored the equaliser as the Under-16s North drew 1-1 with Alexandra Park.
The Under-15s South recorded a 3-1 win over London Maccabi with two goals from Euan Wattley and a third from Alfie Upjohn Lee. A brace from Jack Nevin wasn’t enough for Harvesters Under-18s North as they suffered a 3-2 defeat to Alexandra Park, while the Under-18s South crashed out of the County Cup after a 7-1 loss to Everett Rovers – Sam Nevin getting the consolation.
Meanwhile, Harvesters Girls Under-18s Yellow clinched a 2-1 win against Watford Ladies thanks to goals from Megan Cockhill and Ellie Bergin.
The Under-14s lost 3-1 to Watford Hornets but the Under-13s defeated Bedwell 2-0 with Zoe Brazier and Tilly Moss finding the net.
There was disappointment for the Under-12s as they lost 3-0 to a strong Watford Hornets side.
