Harvesters beaten by Omonia Silver

Harvesters Under-10 West lost 4-2 in their game at Omonia Silver.
The team fell to defeat despite a brace from James Heppenstall. The Under-10s North won 3-1 against Crouch End Vampires with goals from Luke Gibbard (2) and Ryan O’Sullivan. Harvesters Under-11s East won 5-3 at Hadley Wood after being 3-0 down at half-time. Daniel Williams scored four with Jamie Golding also scoring.
Harvesters Under-11s South won 12-1 against Aldenham Athletic with four goals from Benny Stacey, a Tom Mileham hat-trick, and other efforts from Sam Gardiner, Tom Cox, Ahmed Berchil, Jamie Willing and Patrick Dee.
The Under-11s North put in a below par performance to lose 2-1 against Omonia Green with a strike from Jack McShane.
Harvesters Under-12s North beat Sun Postal Yellow 4-1 in the County Cup with a hat-trick from Max Hodgeson and with Ted Fitzgerald Smith also scoring. The Under-12s South beat Melbourn Dynamos 2-1 in the County Cup with goals from Harry Ruane and Albert Quansah. Harvesters Under-13s East won 5-2 away at Hendon, with efforts from Jamie Durham, Charlie Biggs, Stuart Wallace, Leo Silver and Aaron Woodland.
The Under-13s North won 9-0 at Edmonton Rangers with a hat-trick from William Brothwood and single strikes from Ethan Kessel, Amir Berchil, Louie Roberts, Dominic Knaggs, George O’Connor and Robert Edmunds. Goals from Oliver Russell and Adam Smith couldn’t stop the Under-14s South going out of the cup 3-2 to Aldenham. Harvesters Under-14s North lost 3-1 to Edmonton with Lewis Philips scoring their sole effort.
The Under-16s South beat Hendon 6-2 with goals from Gabriel Connolly (two), Ali Jones, Tom Pratley, Jack Gentle and Dan Stanboulian. Harvesters Under-18s South battled hard against Potters Bar but lost 1-0. The Under-18s North won a close match 1-0 against Alexandra Park North thanks to Jack Nevin thumping in a rebound from a Matt Cloke shot with just three minutes to go.
Harvesters Under-13 Girls drew 1-1 in the derby against St Albans City South with Olivia Corbett on the scoresheet.
The Under-14 Girls won a tricky county cup tie against Hitchin with a convincing 4-0 victory thanks to two goals each from Julia Draper and Bolu Fisher. Harvesters Under-16 Girls had a comfortable 8-1 win against St Joseph Youth with Katherine Hatton scoring four goals, along with braces from Esme Stevens and Georgina Royal.
The Under-18 Yellows lost 6-4 against Hampstead in an exciting game after playing most of the second half with only ten players, with goals from Megan Cockhill (2), Ellie Bergin and Ellen Beary.
Harvesters offer an inclusives youth football section for local children with disabilities or learning difficulties. The club will be hosting visiting teams for a football festival on Sunday morning.
Teams will compete in a fun festival format for Under-11, Under-13 and Under-16 age groups. The festival is for players with all types of disability, but players must be ambulant, meaning they must be able to move around unaided.
