Matt Newman netted his 100th goal for London Colney after scoring a hat-trick in the 7-0 win over Stotfold.

Newman opened the scoring for the Blueboys in the second round Dudley Latham Premier Cup tie after just two minutes of the contest and he quickly added a second goal.

Martin Collins made it 3-0 with a lofted finish before Greg Shaw's half-volley extended their lead.

London Colney had to wait until the 70th minute to net their fifth goal when Newman completed his hat-trick from close range.

The visitors added another in injury time when Jimmy Hartley rounded the keeper to score and Shaun Murphy forced home their final goal.

London Colney Colts Under-9s drew 2-2 at home to Borehamwood Youth Crusaders.

After missing a number of chances, Colney had to come from two goals behind, with Jack Morris and Max Pedder scoring.

Colney created a number of further chances but couldn't convert, with both Paddy Cassidy and Alfie Chambers coming closest, striking the post within moments of one another.

Man-of-the-match went to Will Andiyapan.

The Reserves drew 3-3 at home to Baldock Town Reserves with goals from Dan Broom, Matt Newman and Dale Etherington.
