St Albans City Ladies maintained their unbeaten run at the top of the league after a 3-2 derby win at Harvesters Ladies.

The first goal came within three minutes of the start, courtesy of Holly Sheridan’s neat first-touch finish. City kept dominating the first half, passing through Harvesters with ease.

The second period continued in the same way with City controlling the pace, as Molly Slade fired home City's second from the edge of the box after a pull back from the byline.

As the final whistle drew ever closer, City found the gaps in the defence and Kelly Hancock rolled a ball back for Sophie Joseph to finish the game with a beautifully placed lobbed shot.

The Saints' next home game is at home to Flitwick on Sunday with a 2pm kick-off.
