Harpenden Colts Jaguars thrash Broxbourne

Harpenden Colts Under-10 Jaguars extended their winning run, beating Broxbourne Youth V&E Royals 8-1.

The goalscorers were Ben Petevinos (2), Oliver Connolly (2), Thomas Wightman, Jamie Swann, Oscar Ryan and Ethan Maeer. Man-of-the-match went to Petevinos.

The Under-10 Tigers drew 2-2 with Bush Hill Rangers after efforts from Daniel Bentham and Oliver Murat. The pick of their side was James Moffat.

Harpenden Under-10 Dragons lost 4-2 to St Albans City Blues despite a brace from Matthew Kurr.

The Girls Under-11 side went down to a 1-0 defeat to Stevenage in their top of the table clash.

A great team effort from the Under-11 Magpies helped them defeat Watford Sports White 4-1. Their goals came from star player James Agg (2), Tom Horsley and Matteo Hunt.

The Under-11 Tornadoes lost 5-1 to Kings Langley Lions. Fin Mould scored the only Tornadoes goal from the penalty spot.

Harpenden Under-11 Falcons lost 5-3 to Sun Postal. The side’s goalscorers were Joe Edney and Guy Muncer (2). Man-of-the-match was Oliver Hovanessian.

The Under-13 Cougars played Garston in the first round of the Senior League Cup.

It was all square at 5-5 after normal time but Cougars went on to win 7-6 on penalties. Alex Phillips netted four goals while George Wren found the net.

Harpenden Colts United Under-17 won 8-4 against Waltham Cross Youth. Man-of-the-match Kieran Bajpai grabbed four goals. George MacGregor and Ossie Bolton scored two apiece. The Under-17 Rovers beat Potters Bar 6-3 in the Under-18 County Cup. Man-of-the-match James McCulloch (2), Josh King, Josh Sambrook and Jamie Jones all found the target.

But the Under-17s Albion lost 3-2 to Nazeing Youth Under-18s. Louis Marsh and Sam Ivens scored their consolation efforts.
