Harpenden sit third in the Herts Cricket League Premier Division after they played out a draw against Welwyn Garden City.
Welwyn batted first and set a total of 269 for eight. Harpenden were on course to match that but ran out of overs and ended on 202 for eight.
The Seconds won by 121 runs against Southgate Adelaide in Division Three, the Thirds beat Wormley by nine wickets in Division Five and the Fourths lost by six wickets against Berkhamsted Seconds in Division Eight.
Harpenden Fifths drew with Chipperfield Clarendon Thirds in Division 11 West while the Sixths lost by 42 runs against Chorleywood Fourths.
A disappointing display with the bat saw St Albans West Indian lose by 65 runs against Ickleford in Division Two.
Ickleford scored 125 all out but St Albans’ reply was ended at just 61.
