Old Albanian held on for a draw in their Herts Division Two match against Watford Town.

After winning the toss, OAs opted to put their opponents into bat. The decision appeared to pay off as they reduced Watford Town to 14 for two.

The opposition recovered but were eventually dismissed for 160 in 48 overs.

Naseer Ahmed was the pick of the bowlers as he returned figures of five for 30. Chris Dobson, Ahsan Ali, Mozammal Hayat and Usman Farooq Malik all took one wicket apiece.

In reply, Old Albanian got off to a tough start and were in trouble on 59 for five. Jack Reynolds made a valuable contribution as he scored 46 off 111 balls. Sagir Ahmed hit 17 but OAs were relieved to avoid defeat as they finished up on 115 for nine.

Old Albanian Seconds eased to a five-wicket win over Old Owens in Division Seven.

Old Owens won the toss and opted to bat first but this backfired as they crumbled to 66 all out in just 29 overs.

A superb bowling performance did the damage with Victor Stairmand claiming four for 14. Sajjad Ahmed took three for nine while Harley Stairmand came away with two for five.

After doing all the hard work with the ball, OAs had few problems chasing down the total in just 16 overs.

Alex Goldstone scored 22 while Victor Stairmand ended unbeaten on ten.

In Division 11, Old Albanian Thirds lost to Harpenden Fifths by six wickets.

After winning the toss, OAs chose to bat first and in their rain affected match finished on 129 for five from 41 overs.

Opener David Goodier top scored with 35 while Finley Matheson finished unbeaten on 24. Ben Dearman and Joseph McNiel each returned two wickets.

Harpenden had few problems chasing down the total for the loss of four wickets in 21.4 overs. Ben Newton hit 58 off 44 balls to lead them to victory.

Harpenden Firsts were held by Sawbridgeworth in the Premier Division.

Harp scored a total of 221 for eight from their innings before their opponents held out, finishing up on 132 for seven.

Harpenden Seconds won by three wickets against Bushey in Division Three.

Bushey were dismissed for just 83 in 30.1 overs and Harp reached the lowly target in 26.3 overs for the loss of seven wickets.

The Thirds eased to an eight-wicket win over Hatfield and Crusaders Seconds in Division Five.

Hatfield could only muster 135 for nine and Harpenden cruised to the target for the loss of just two wickets in 20 overs.

Harpenden Fourths fell to a two-wicket defeat against Bushey Seconds in Division Eight.

The team were all out for 152 in 44.5 overs and Bushey claimed victory with two wickets remaining.

St Albans Seconds drew with West Herts Seconds in Division Four.

West Herts looked impressive as they reached a total of 210 for seven from their innings. But St Albans held their own in reply as they finished up on 107 for four.

St Albans Thirds lost by five wickets to North Enfield Seconds in Division Seven.

The side were dismissed for 125 in 39.3 overs which was not enough to trouble Enfield.

St Albans Fourths thrashed Rickmansworth Fourths by 148 runs in Division 11 West.

The team managed to score a total of 173 for six from 38 overs. Rickmansworth could not live with their opponents’ bowling as they crumbled to 25 all out in 19 overs.
