St Albans eased to a six-wicket win over Holtwhites Trinibis in Herts Division One on Saturday.

Holtwhites managed to score a total of 154 all out in 46 overs. Mark Telkman was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up three for 26 from nine overs. Masroor Ahsan Raja claimed three for 46 while Stanley Tinkler took two for 31.

In reply, St Albans reached the target for the loss of four wickets in 35.3 overs. Opener Ian McKinlay hit 41 runs and there were solid contributions from Sandipan Chanda (26), Mohammed Asif Hussain (22), Phil Caley (21 not out) and Syed Shah (23 not out).

The Seconds’ match against Ampthill Town Seconds was cancelled.

St Albans Thirds lost by 38 runs to Ware in Division Seven.

After winning the toss, Ware were put into bat and managed to score 141 all out in 47.4 overs. Andrew Walker returned figures of five for 30 and Robert Still claimed three for 29.

In reply, opener Stuart Murray top scored on 26 but it was a real struggle for the side as they were dismissed for 103 in 42.3 overs.

St Albans Fourths lost by six wickets to Radlett Fifths in Division 11 West.

The Saints were all out for 133 in 43.2 overs. Radlett knocked off the runs in 37.1 overs for the loss of four wickets.

Old Albanian battled to a three-wicket win over Old Owens in Division Two.

OAs managed to dismiss Old Owens for 110 in 37.5 overs. The side needed 32.3 overs to reach the target for the loss of seven wickets in 32.3 overs.

The Seconds eased to a seven-wicket victory over Great Gaddesden in Division Seven.

Their opponents were all out for 177 in 47.1 overs. OAs made light work of the chase as they secured the win inside 39.5 overs.

In Division 11 West, Old Albanian Thirds suffered a 54-run defeat to Old Elizabethans Thirds.

The side restricted Old Elizabethans to 152 for eight but a poor batting display saw OAs skittled out for 98.
