Colney Heath Ladies battle past Canaries
Colney Heath Ladies edged to a 1-0 win over Norwich City Reserves at home in the for the first round of the Eastern Regions Women's League Cup on Sunday.
The hosts were awarded a penalty when Kelly Hancock inside the box. Captain Lucy Hancock stepped up to calmly slot the ball into the bottom right corner.
Their reward is a trip to Southend Ladies in the next round of the competition on October 26.
Colney Heath will turn their attention to the third round of the FA Cup this weekend when they visit Leighton United Vixens.
