Harpenden were held to a draw against Hertford in the Herts Premier Division on Saturday.

Batting first, Hertford scored an impressive 314 for seven from their innings. It was a tough session in the field for Harpenden but Richard Darwin returned figures of four for 93 and Ben Frazer took two for 65.

In reply, Harp did not threaten the target but held out for a draw on 227 for six. Daniel Blacktopp was the star batsman hitting 117 and Nick Lamb struck 42.

Harpenden Seconds also drew with Abbots Langley in Division Two B.

Abbots opted to bat first after winning the toss and they scored 272 for eight from 47 overs. Guy Watts took three for 64 and Joel Stewart took two for 52.

Harpenden opener Ed Washington was in superb form with the bat hitting 157 off 119 balls. George Garrett scored 32 and Oliver Tuck contributed 27 as the side finished on 250 for eight.

The Thirds defeated Leverstock Green Seconds in Division Four B.

Levy Green scored 225 for seven from their innings but Harpenden managed to chase down this total with three wickets to spare off 45.3 overs.

Harpenden Fourths lost by six wickets to Langleybury Thirds in Division Eight A.

The side were restricted to 194 for nine and Langleybury only lost four wickets on their way to victory.

Harpenden Fifths lost to Berkhamsted Thirds by 97 runs in Regional Division A West.

Berko scored 186 all out and Harpenden fell well short of the target as they were dismissed for 89 in 28.5 overs.

In Regional Division C East, Harpenden Sixths defeated Datchworth Fouths by 29 runs.

Harp scored 168 for seven and their opponents were all out for 139.
