St Albans suffered a 72-run defeat to Holtwhites Trinibis in Herts Division Two A.

After winning the toss, Holtwhites opted to bat first and scored 223 all out. Shane Farnon hit 68 and Habib Younis was in excellent form scoring 95.

Henry Tyler fared best with the ball for St Albans taking four for 30 while there were two wickets apiece for Max Capaldi (two for 33) and Robbie Goddard (two for 11).

St Albans struggled with the bat though and fell short as they were skittled out for 151 in 39.2 overs.

Tyler (34) and Capaldi (53) were the only players to make an impression as six for 31 from Younis fired Holtwhites to victory.

St Albans Seconds clinched a 63-run victory over Flitwick Seconds in Division Four B.

Batting first, the Saints scored a total of 186 for eight from their innings. In reply, Flitwick were second best and only lasted 43.4 overs as they were all out for 123.

In Division Eight A, St Albans Thirds fell to a five-wicket defeat to Northwood Town Seconds.

The Saints scored a total of 195 all out from their innings. In reply, Northwood Town were too strong as they reached the target for the loss of five wickets in 43.1 overs.

St Albans Fourths earned a three-wicket victory over Shenley Village Fourths in Regional Division B West.

Shenley Village were dismissed for just 97 in 31.1 overs and St Albans knocked off the runs with three wickets to spare in 29.5 overs.
