St Albans City have confirmed Harry Wheeler will remain in charge for the rest of the season.

Wheeler was placed in the caretaker role following the exit of James Gray and Graham Golds at the end of November.

But the Dageham & Redbridge coach will now continue in charge at Clarence Park for the remainder of the season as he bids to keep the Saints in the National League South.

Mark Boyce, Rhys Thom and Sam Backhouse will continue as his backroom staff.

The club have also appointed Adam Lee as director of football. His remit will be to oversee football business on behalf of the chairman and club owners.

Tom Norman has been confirmed as football secretary and will assume this role alongside his commercial activities.
