St Albans Girls School represented Arsenal
St Albans Girls School pupils represented Arsenal as they beat Tottenham 5-0 at the Premier League Schools Tournament at Everton's Goodison Park.
The Under-13 girls’ team produced the result of the day against their North London rivals as 320 schools took to the pitch for the final day.
Along with pupils from Gillespie Primary School the Gunners mixed U11 as well as the U13 girls’ team produced some fine performances throughout the day.
The tournament is held every year with all 20 Premier League clubs hosting their own competition where they select schools to represent them at the final.
More than 14,000 young footballers take part in the competition to increase football participation for boys and girls.
