St Albans City will host League Two promotion hopefuls Carlisle United at Clarence Park in the FA Cup first round.
The Saints reached the first round proper for the second year in a row, having lost 5-1 at Grimsby last season, and will this time enjoy a showcase tie in front of their own fans on November 5.
Keith Curle's side are currently third in League 2, and are the only unbeaten side in the Football League, with six wins and seven draws from their 13 league games.
There will be hopes among the Saints' heirarchy that BT Sport or the BBC choose the tie for television coverage - and it may be seen as a sufficient chance of a cup upset to be given the nod.
The Saints reached the first round after a 1-0 win at Egham Town on Saturday, with Sam Merson, son of Arsenal legend Paul, on target for the fourth time in three games.
