St Albans City boss David Howell is looking at two players on trial.
Midfielder Ben Long, who previously played for Barnet, has been playing for Colney Heath. Goalkeeper Nick Hardy, 23, has joined from South Midlands Premier side Hadley.
In other player news, defender Ryan Moran has left to join fellow Evo-Stik Premier Division club Chesham United.
Winger Sean Shields, who sustained ankle ligament damage at Hitchin, is ready to resume training and will join James Bent in returning to the first team squad.
Striker Rob Haworth has sustained another injury, pulling a hamstring while playing for Leatherhead on dual registration forms last Saturday.
