Harvesters Under-12s North have won the Puma Cup.
The team won their first silverware of the season after claiming victory in the prestigious six-a-side Puma Cup held over the Christmas period at The Football Academy in Stevenage.
Having been beaten in the final of the competition for the past two seasons the North went undefeated in the group stages, winning three and drawing two of their five games, with the highlight being a 3-1 win over the ISS Academy to secure their place in the last four of the knockout stages.
In the semi-finals Harvesters came up against another academy side Focus but were again victorious 2-1 thanks to goals from Louie Roberts and Amir Berchil.
In a very close game, the final between Harvesters and Crawley Green Kestrels, was settled by a strike one second from the end of normal time.
Amir Berchil came up with the all-important goal to give them a 1-0 victory.
