London Colney claimed a 4-1 home win over Biggleswade United in the South Midlands Premier Division on Saturday.

It could have been a different story though as the visitors had three goals disallowed on an eventful afternoon.

The first saw Jude Eboji turn on the edge of the box and crack a low shot into the back of the net but the referee quickly blew his whistle for a foul.

The Blueboys opened the scoring when Greg Shaw struck a fierce effort past the visiting keeper.

London Colney made it 2-0 when Martin Collins beat the offside trap and fired home.

Lee Bilcock scored in the second half for United but it was again ruled out for a foul on Jack Smith.

London Colney made it 3-0 when Jack Woods sent in a cross and Bilcock sliced the ball into his own net.

The visitors’ day was summed up when Jack Boyd hit the post and Eboji's header which found the net was disallowed for offside.

The Blueboys then made it 4-0 when Jimmy Hill flicked the ball home from just inside the far post.

Tre Grant netted a deserved consolation for United late on.
