Harvesters Under-12s won the County Cup in Letchworth
Harvesters Under-12s won the County Cup in Letchworth after a 2-0 victory over Hertford Town Woodside.
It was the club’s second triumph in the competition after previously lifting the cup back in 2005.
Harvesters went into the final unbeaten after 11 matches in the Under-12 Watford Friendly League Red Division while Hertford Town recently claimed the Hertfordshire Youth Futsal championship.
The opening goal of the game came after 15 minutes when Joe Vance side-footed a cross past the goalkeeper.
Only 60 seconds later Harvesters found themselves 2-0 up. Ben Kirby whipped in a corner to the back post from the right hand side and Josh Forster headed home.
