St Albans City striker John Frendo has completed a move to rivals Hemel Hempstead Town.
Frendo was the Saints' top scorer for the last two seasons. The prolific forward netted 43 goals in 55 appearances during the 2013-14 campaign after joining from Hitchin Town.
The striker also topped the scoring charts for the club last season hitting 18 goals in 42 matches following City's promotion to the Conference South.
But his form was not as consistent as his first year and there was controversy when Frendo was fined for missing the Saints' FA Cup tie with Concord Rangers in October to go to the El Clasico match between Real Madrid and Barcelona.
His exit suggests joint managers James Gray and Graham Golds will be searching for a replacement to lead their attack next season.
