St Albans City FC have made it into the first round of the FA Cup for only the second time in 13 seasons.

The Saints secured a 2-1 win over fellow National League South side Weston-Super-Mare yesterday at Clarence Park.

Graeme Montgomery opened the scoring at the end of the first half but Ben Withey of Weston pulled level within 10 minutes of the restart.

Saints captain, Lee Chappell, scored towards the end to secure victory.

The first round draw will take place on Monday at 7pm.
