London Colney eased to a 4-0 win at home to Hadley on Saturday in their first South Midlands Premier Division game since the end of January.

The Blueboys had to wait until the end of the first half to take the lead through Danny Fitzgerald’s low strike.

The hosts extended their lead ten minutes into the second period when Lee Armitt pounced and fired home.

London Colney made it 3-0 in the closing stages when a long ball released Stef Geraldes and he buried his shot into the net.

The Blueboys rounded off the scoring when Charlie Smith raced clear of the defence to find the target.

Colney sit third in the table but have games in hand over the league’s top two sides.
