St Albans Hockey Club Ladies first team secured a valuable point in the England Women’s Conference East league on Saturday with a 2-2 draw against Harleston Magpies.
Superb goals from Sammie Archer and GB international Amie Hone earned the team a draw.
The ladies seconds had a closely fought 2-1 loss against Bedford despite a goal from Jo Martin.
St Albans ladies thirds continued their unbeaten season with a 1-1 draw against West Herts away with Eleanor Page the Tangerine goalscorer.
The Boadiceas won 2-0 against Tring after Helen Anton and Louise Jackman both found the net.
The men’s first team ended their unbeaten run with a 3-1 loss against Cambridge University with a consolation goal from Matt Davey.
St Albans thirds won 3-2 against Chiswick while the sixth team beat Rickmansworth 2-1 and the Centurions won 4-3 against Surbiton Vets.
